Have you always wanted to test your sushi making skills? Join us for this month's Virtual Cooking Event and learn how to make the perfect 'California Roll.'
Cooking with Command is a new virtual series created with the purpose of bringing together the community and uniting our families with a fun evening of cooking and storytelling. For our upcoming segment, our special guest will teach us how to make a fantastic California roll that isn't going to taste like anything you've had before. Join in and learn how to make an amazing dish to surprise your family this Fourth of July.

Required Ingredients:
For Sushi Rice:
- Short or medium grain rice
- Water
- Rice vinegar
- Sugar
- Salt
For California roll:
- Imitation crab meat ("log" shaped)
- Ripe (but firm) avocado
- Rice vinegar
- Medium cucumber, peeled and sliced into long julienne strips
- Toasted Nori seaweed
- Toasted sesame seeds
