The National Purple Heart Day Scramble takes place Saturday. Aug. 20 at the Baumholder Rolling Hills Army Golf Course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne, just five minutes away from Smith Barracks. Golfers make their own two or four person team for this 18-hole, scramble format. Shotgun start is 9 a.m. The Rolling Hills Golf Course is a green jewel nestled between forested rolling hills that offer beautiful views of the countryside in all directions. Why play flatland golf?
