Child and Youth Services and ACS Family Advocacy Program are partnering to bring the free Parent Education Series, which will be held the third Thursday of each month from May to July at ACS, Bldg. 8666 on Smith Barracks.

The goal of the series is to provide parents, expecting parents and those considering becoming parents, resources that they can use to ease the challenges of parenting.

  • "Talk that Talk" will be topic for May 18 and will focus on how to effectively communicate with your children.
  • "Bright Side to Budgeting" will be June 15 and will teach how to adjust your budget for the added expense of children.
  • "Self-Care isn't Selfish" will be July 20 and will discuss ways to take a break to restore energy to be the best for you and your family.
