Open Mic Poetry Slam

Calling all poets, artists, and deep thinkers for the Open Mic Poetry Slam Event Friday, June 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Warrior Zone, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks.

• Each participant will be given a maximum of five minutes to express themselves through words, emotions, and lyrics.
• Participants are kindly asked that they adhere to the time limit so that everyone has an opportunity to contribute.
• To maintain a respectful atmosphere, participants must refrain from using offensive language.
• Any racist, sexist, or homophobic remarks will not be tolerated.
• This event is open to individuals, 18 and older, who hold a valid US ID Card, as well as their guests.
• Due to the presence of alcoholic beverages and adult language, children will not be allowed on the premises.
